we flying reptilian things
warmed our hides
on sun-baked rocks
before taking
to the sky
in numbers.
primal stuff
(later packaged
as spam)
spewed from fissures
in the earth
below.
we landed;
a voice from the sky
said eat.
we did
and thus became
Man.
