Five Poems on a Theme

by Thomas R.

Zurvan has been forgotten in his land
An ancient God they no longer understand
Joy came in this freedom
As it will with the changes planned

She chased its secret as a child
A quest for truth far from mild
Through physics she found it
And thus made all reality seem wild

His father, his killer sits by him
Hopes for escape have become quite slim
After death it all repeats
Hellish loop in this life gone dim

Across the bridge she found herself there
An earlier age of deals called square
A primitive society to her
Still an escape from her era's despair

As the giant ship approaches relativistic speed
The dying accelerates but they shall succeed
A dream is worth this
They travel forward to meet its need
