Green is an inundating flood of light,
A cataclysm swamping time and space.
Engulfing matter, it effaces night.
Atomic particles it does embrace.

Diffusing rapidly through space and time,
It flows in life with great viridity.
It manifests itself in every lime,
And it foreruns serene placidity.

Green are the gases in the atmospheres
Of many planets that are here and there.
Green can be found past faraway frontiers;
Its fulgent presence is felt everywhere.

Throughout the universe is always seen
The vivid, vibrant, verdant color green.
