A green moon shone upon
Her gentle face on that last day
Soon she would be gone
The ship come to take her away
What message had she come to say?
He knew that by dawn
Her words he kept forever to stay
Sad message from a pawn
The green jewel shines over their home
The means to their end
A verdict from a vast intelligent dome
A death ready to send
They still had many years
Although not enough to change their fate
Instead he protects from fears
Frees their last days from all hate
Emerald shines brighter now overhead
Close your eyes count to ten
Make a wish my darling
In this land of the dead
