For thousands of years she wandered
Grand adventurer of space
She never felt that time squandered
Except when she remembered his face
For he stayed on Earth
Saw his own share of joy and strife
Helped to give immortality birth
Then chose this island for a simple life
So on that island they would reunite
She returned for love
He now longed for flight
With his space-faring dove
Millions of years they will wander
Sharing experiences beyond their dreams
Becoming a thing we can not now even ponder
As they sail beyond any of our petty schemes
