Bewildering Stories biography
Alyssa’s flash fiction is featured in MER and Flash Fiction Magazine. Her manuscript, “Traveler,” won the Writer’s League of Texas Manuscript Contest (Sci-Fi/Fantasy category) in 2023. Her writing also received honorable mention in the 2019 Craft Literary First Chapters Contest.
She’s an alum of Grub Street’s Novel Incubator, and has an MFA from the University of New Hampshire. Though a New Englander at heart, she lives in New York with her Brooklyn-Italian husband, their well-trained dog and semi-feral child.
“Devil’s Purse” was longlisted for Uncharted Magazine’s What the Wild Carries contest.
