Kirsti Mikoda
Kirsti is a writer in Vancouver, British Columbia. She has won prizes for short fiction as well as for feature-length screenplays.
“Little Girl Lost” tells a touching story of Henry Edgell, a father bereft by the accidental loss of his young daughter, Nancy. Divorced from the strangely indifferent mother, he moves into a very old house, which he discovers is haunted by the ghost of Helen, a girl of Nancy’s age. The story can be read as both an unresolved murder mystery and an allegory of a parent’s grief.
