Bewildering Stories introduces and welcomes...
B. Marcus Walker
Marcus says he uses his middle name as a pen name to avoid being confused with another author named Walker. The Managing Editor sympathizes but is in a more privileged posiiton; he can require that contributors who have the same name as he use their middle name or initial. To ensure their distinction, of course.
Marcus is from the South Side of Chicago but has a B.A. in English from New York Universtity and a Master’s degree in Instructional Design from the Univ. of Massachusetts. He has had a 20-year career as an instructional designer, trainer and learning content creator.
“Roadsong, 1901” is dated with the first year of the 20th century, but some aspects of it will surely strike readers as timely for various reasons. One in particular, hopefully, is Big Jim. Others offer warning lessons.
