Anatomy of the Lemon: Carpel Section

Compartmentalized. Cartoonish. Comic.
A berry filled with speech bubbles.
A container of thought bubbles.
Ovarian library technology where trees store text.
Embryonic archive in a portable leathery rind
storing seeds and scripts in vertical folios.

Compartmentalized. Syndromic.
Striated vegetable muscles grow.
A ring of muscles. Isosceles apexes with arc bases.
With water: flex. Sunlight: flex. Endomorphic flex.
Isosceles spokes make a wheel.
Kitchen operation: bruise, bruise, bruise, for juice.
Bruise, bruise, bruise: lemonade.

Compartmentalized. Pescatarian. Filleted.
Squeeze over fish fillets. The pescatarian berry.
Sectioned like the fish is sectioned.
Chefs complain fish tastes the same,
but for lemon that dissolves the genre in acid
and leaves the essence of the individual behind.
The fruit that reveals waters: sea salt or freshwater;
river or trench. The lemon reveals the migratory life
in the taste of the fish. Reading by tongue. Writing with fruit.
