Dan Rodriguez

Dan has taught children and adujlts in China, Vietnam and Kuwait. Now he teaches English as a second language to immigrants in his home town of New York City.

“Professor Strike” is a mystery story in which the focus of the mystery is the narrator himself. Professor Strike is an English teacher who lives in a city where New York would be in our universe. The proper names of the characters and places are those of North American First Nations.

A student of the teacher’s exposes him as her father’s killer. But to what end? That is for the student, the teacher and the reader to determine. The story has indications of being an intermediate chapter in a novel, one in which the plot is building but its end is not yet in sight.
