Bewildering Stories introduces and welcomes...
G. W. McClary
G. W. has a B.A. in English Literature from Wright State University, in Ohio. He has published prose fiction in several journals and founded a writing group.
“The Goetari School” doesn’t explain the name “Goetari School,” but it doesn’t really matter; perhaps the name appears in a larger literary context. The story succeeds in transporting the readers figuratively and swiftly to an underground city high above parched plains. The hero of the story starts out as a student in a school for weather-makers in a strange society to which he — as will the readers — finds it easy to adapt.
