Dennis A. Blackledge

Dennis has had a lifetime career in the American Theatre. He has published prose fiction, scripted and hosted an annual radio broadcast and has scripted the book for a stage musical.

“Fraternity of the Footlights” will engage readers from the outset with its realistic depiction of a high-school athlete who is won away from football to participating in productions with the Drama club. The mentoring and the sheer camaraderie in a the production of plays — including a version of Romeo and Juliet — inspire the narrator — and, possibly, the readers, as well — to undertake a career in theatre.
