Bewildering Stories introduces and welcomes...
Earl Smith
Earl Smith’s poetry and prose are mostly drawn from personal experience, but he also writes action-adventure stories, often with a touch of the paranormal.
“An Act of Kindness” might be a seasonal story in December were it not for the story’s warmer weather. However, it can be read as a modern form of the parable. Several characters are faced with a very common social illness of old age, namely loneliness. One of them seizes the moment to offer a remedy.
Earl Smith’s bio sketch can be found here.
