Bewildering Stories introduces and welcomes...
Greg Bratone
Greg lives in Brooklyn, where he teaches world history in high school. He has studied International Politics at Johns Hopkins University. He has industry experience in screenwriting and also pursues causes in fighting the climate crisis.
“The Hold Down” is a surfing term, Greg explains, that refers to wave pressure that holds a surfer under water. Readers will find that the "hold down" in the story is not a natural phenomenon but a figure of speech referring to a socio-political structure gone very wrong.
