Bewildering Stories introduces and welcomes...
D. C. Martin
D. C. lives with his family in Guelph, Ontario and teaches 4th grade. His prose fiction features “quirky, endearing characters who find themselves in highly unexpected predicaments,” and he has published extensively.
“When the Dream Ends” is indeed quirky, because the central character, Liam, has been waging a great struggle to determine exactly what he is. Even his therapist doesn’t seem to know, because Liam’s family has tried for years to protect him by covering up an awful truth. Liam’s discovery of a forgotten old photograph begins a process of resolution.
