New contributor Jonathan B. Ferrini takes newly divorced Miss Emily into retirement in her late aunt Eleanor’s rural home. For a decoration, she purchases an elegant antique telephone. The Talking Phone has a lot to tell her. A politician who based his career on conspiracy theories is shunned for denouncing one of them in the name of truth. In a prophetic dream, he is shown the meaning and promise of Dante’s Limbo. James Hanna, Orville Baumgardner and the Circle of Limbo Ikey, a watch repairman, espies an enigmatic tattoo in the photo of a government official whose pocket watch he’s repairing.
