    2. Does the narrator recover or discover his identity as Alicante?
    3. What do the dragonflies symbolize?
  3. In Charles C. Cole’s Mott Brinegar, Mountain Man:

    1. Why does it come as a surprise that Mott Brinegar can speak fluently and articulately in addressing the intruders?
    2. Mott Brinegar’s description of the trees’ interrelationship is accurate, but to what extent does he carry it too far? Is it unreasonable to expect the intruders will believe him?
