Dave Clark

Dave lives in Cambridge, England, where he is an administrator at the local university. He has published in many print and online anthologies and won a number of short-story contests as well as finishing high in the order of many other competitions.

“Hugo Hears From Julie” will amuse readers with its account of Hugo’s quite unexpected good fortune. It doesn’t seem to be good at first but, then, Hugo hasn’t quite read all of Julie’s text message, whereupon hangs a tale. Good humour is welcome in these days and times, when it’s often hard to tell whether the latest news is a bad joke or just plain bad.
