Judy Boss is the author of several college textbooks, including THiNK and Analyzing Moral Issues, both among the top sellers in their fields. Prior to pursuing a career in academia, she worked as a writer and researcher for the Nova Scotia Museum.
In addition to her extensive academic writing, she has had three short stories published, including a science fiction story in Philosophy for Children about a girl who gets stuck in the fourth dimension, and a short story about a woman who has an irrational terror of cornfields. “The Cornfield” appeared in Blood Moon: Best New England Crime Stories (2012).
During her spare time Boss volunteers with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Services and enjoys spending time with her family.
