Brian Brestovac
Bewildering Stories biography
I was born in 1959 in Perth, Western Australia, and have a science degree from Curtin University and a PhD form the University of Western Australia. I am currently working as a senior lecturer at Curtin University in the fields of Virology and Immunology. I have several scientific articles published and have self-published two books: COVID Dreams and One, One, Six.
I have a sixth dan in Kendo and have represented Australia at the 1997 and 2000 World Kendo Championships. I continue to train and participate in Kendo.
I read a variety of books, and I have a lot that I really like so it’s difficult to pick favourites. However 1984 by George Orwell and Strange News from Another Star, by Hermann Hesse, are a couple I really like.
I am married to Connie, have three sons and still live in Perth, Western Australia.
