Bewildering Stories biography
I am a northern Californian by birth and pale-skinned predilection for foggy climes, yet live in a southern California bungalow straight out of Mildred Pierce. When not marveling at life’s twists and turns I teach geography, read and write creative fiction and, with my wife, raise the two most amazing kids in the world.
My favorite authors include Flannery O’Connor, George MacDonald Fraser, Stephen King and (of course) James M Cain. “The Last Sound They Make” is my first contribution to Bewildering Stories, appearing in issue 967.
