Bewildering Stories biography
I’m 55, a retired GP from the Bristol area of the UK, but born and bred in London. Married, with two grown-up children. For the last three years I have been living in the Middle East establishing Primary Care medical services for migrant and Bedouin populations.
I’m a polymath, addicted to life-long studying with degrees in Physics, Medicine, Surgery and Creative writing amongst others. I’m soon to finish a Masters in Creative Writing with the Open University and look forward to a period where I can produce a greater body of creative work.
I love reading and writing poetry in particular, but mainly seek to publish my short stories. I have recently completed a novel which is looking for a good home in 2018.
My favorite Short Story writers include, Lorrie Smith, Raymond Chandler, Mark Haddon, William Trevor and the marvelous Alice Munro..
