I grew up a farm in downriver Detroit and while I picked tomatoes and hoed beans I dreamed of a life where my fingernails weren't always dirty. I earned my BFA in Acting from NYU, which led to my first career as a professional standup comedian. My name and headshot still appear on the walls of the Hollywood Comedy Store.
From standup, I transitioned into becoming a television writer and producer, and I earned six Daytime Emmy nominations for my work on E! News. I've also written and produced for E!’s The Daily 10, ABC’s Wipeout, CBS’s Hollywood Squares, HGTV’s What's With that House? and more.
Recently, I blew up my life to relocate from Los Angeles to Ohio with my cat to pursue my MFA in fiction at Bowling Green State University. I've published short stories in Etherea Magazine, The Arcanist, Dream of Shadows, Bards and Sages Quarterly, Flash Fiction Magazine, The Northridge Review, and more.
