Pat Hauldren
Bewildering Stories biography
Pat Hauldren, known to friends as “Alley,” was born in Waco, Texas after a spaceship crash and has wandered Texas in search of her Mummy. In the meantime, she writes speculative fiction in the Dallas-Ft. Worth area.
She is a freelance editor and writer who has published articles on the entertainment industry for FYI Publications to hundreds of newspapers across the country, won poetry contests and published poetry, and, since retiring from Quality Assurance, has begun publishing short stories and is on her third novel.
She has served on the board of the DFW Writers’ Workshop, the North Texas Romance Writers, where she also edits their monthly newsletter, and helped create and now moderates the North Texas Speculative Fiction Workshop.
She’s editing her first anthology this year and working to finish her current work in progress, which has already been requested by an agent. Alley attends as many workshops and conventions as possible. Her regular cons are Fencon, ConDFW, & the DFW Writers Workshop Yearly Conference.
