Wayne is a lifelong, year-round fisherman who resides in New Jersey with his wife, in health-induced semi-retirement. He fishes both fresh and saltwater in his native state and across the country. His bucket list is catching fish in all the lower forty-eight states, and he needs about a dozen more to accomplish that.
When not fishing, Wayne is usually reading about it or writing about it. He began writing in college, selling fishing articles to local, regional and national publications. He enjoys other outdoor pursuits such as camping, hiking and boating, which are all linked to his fishing.
Wayne is a former athlete, coach and still an avid fan of most sports. His hero is his son Justin, a runner, adventurer, journalist, writer, humanitarian, and the best partner anyone could have on an outdoor escapade.
