Bewildering Stories biography

I’ve published poetry in 50 Haiku, Punch Drunk Press, Serving House Journal, and Loch Raven Review and have poems forthcoming in The Dawntreader and Main Street Rag. My short fiction has appeared in Salon.com and The Flatbush Review, the magazines Analog, Black Gate, the anthologies Newer York and Happily Ever After, and other publications. My haiku series, “Bury My Heart at Olduvai Gorge,” was part of the traveling exhibition Knowing Limits, shown in U.S. national parks.

By way of — likely superfluous — biographical detail: I was born and raised in Brooklyn. I’m a U.S. Coast Guard and U.S. Army Reserve veteran, and former merchant seaman. I am a graduate of Brooklyn College, and I attended the Clarion Writer’s Workshop at Michigan State University.
