Bewildering Stories biography
I am a postgraduate student currently living in London, soon to be ejected from the cosy realm of academia into the perils of ‘the real world’. I studied English at the University of Cambridge, and emerged three years later, blinking in the sunlight, with my passion for sci-fi and fantasy still fully intact.
I was also pleasantly surprised to be awarded the University’s Quiller-Couch prize for creative writing (2010) for “Augury,” a short story set during the Nazi occupation of Guernsey in WWII.
For encouraging and aiding the development of my writing, I owe great thanks to my family and friends, as well as to members of the website Elfwood, and of my online writing group, The Herscher Project.
My fiction has appeared in Lightning Flash Magazine, and I have a story forthcoming in Cast of Wonders audio magazine.
