I first consider myself a writer and second a traveler. My biggest passions in life have always been the arts and traveling. I have been in many theatrical productions as well as television shows, commercials and films. You can find me on IMDB (Internet Movie DataBase), if you’re interested.
As for writing, my prose has been published in Down in the Dirt and Bewildering Stories. I have been trained at the college level in creative writing, screenwriting and copy writing, and I am currently working on many projects including a young adult fiction novel and a full-length feature screenplay.
I’m a member of the North Carolina Writer’s Network, and I’m also a volunteer guest blogger for Grads.Co.UK under the name Katie Hill.
I’m also the owner of a home-based travel agency called From Here to There Travel. I love not only planning vacations, but going on them myself! I’ve been to most countries in western Europe, a lot of major U.S. cities, all over Costa Rica and to the Caribbean islands of Curacao and Jamaica. I have a goal of visiting as many countries as physically possible and to visit at least every continent by the age of 40.

I currently live in North Carolina with my husband, son and dog named Corona. (Yes, she was named after the beer.)
