Bewildering Stories biography

Although originally from Ohio, I have lived in the South since 1985 and in the historic town of Abingdon, Virginia for the last six years. I have had short stories published in Death Rattle and Flag Ship, as well as in the print anthology Horror, Humor and Heroes.
In addition I have written a young adult sci-fi/fantasy novel The Dragons of Atlantis and a mystery/thriller Beneath the Smoke, both available through Amazon’s Kindle program. A sequel to Beneath the Smoke, entitled Beneath Murky Waters, is presently undergoing more editing.
I originally moved to southwestern Virginia for the hiking and cycling available in the Mt. Rogers area. Unfortunately, since early 2011, degenerative arthritis has made significant inroads in my physical activities. But on the bright side, it has left me more time for writing and, of course, reading.
