Michael Merriam
Bewildering Stories biography
Michael Merriam has sold fantasy and science fiction stories and poetry to a variety of magazines, including Andromeda Spaceways Inflight Magazine, Beyond Centauri, Deep Magic, Fictitious Force, and From the Asylum.
He is a two time semi-finalist in the L. Ron Hubbard Writers of The Future Contest. Michael has also been nominated for the 2007 James B. Baker Award in the Short Story category for “Jenny’s Magic” in Beyond Centauri #13 and the 2006 Preditors and Editors Reader’s Choice Award in the Science Fiction and Fantasy Short Story category for “The Siege of Harnlow” in Gryphonwood Fantasy Magazine.
Michael is a member of the Science Fiction Poetry Association and an assistant organizer of the Twin Cities Speculative Fiction Writers Network.
