I was born in Cicero, Illinois, just outside of Chicago, in 1947. I’m a retired business executive, an avid enthusiast of all sports, and a committed observer of people, places, and things. I’m a long-term cancer survivor and have learned that you never know how strong and creative you are until it’s the only option.
I graduated from the University of Illinois in 1970, where I received a degree in economics. I also graduated from Northwestern University, where I received my MBA in Finance and International Business in 1975.
My business and personal travels have taken me to many areas of the world. These travels have served as the basis for many of my stories. Writing fiction has always been a passion for me and, in recent years, my writing has specialized in murder mystery novels and poignant short stories that elicit emotional and thoughtful responses.
My wife and I live near our three grown children in Southern California, along with a lifetime collection of books.
