I am a longtime business journalist, photojournalist and newspaper publisher who has lived all over the United States. I now reside near Asheville, North Carolina. working as a freelance writer and pursuing fiction writing.
I completed my first novel — historical fiction, revolving around the early days of professional baseball in 1880s St. Louis — and am hunting for a book deal. I’m writing a second novel set in the South during the pandemic summer of 2020.
My wife and I have three grown children and two grandchildren. Two busy dogs command more than their share of attention in our household. If you can’t find me, that hopefully means I’m fly-fishing.
