Bewildering Stories biography

David Tyler Pierson, born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1996, is an author and musician who studied Film/Television at the Savannah College of Art and Design.

His fanatical love for science fiction knows few bounds, and works like James S.A. Corey’s The Expanse were what pushed him to finally write stories of his own after admiring the genre for most of his life. Other influences include Alastair Reynolds, George R.R. Martin, and more recently, Arkady Martine.

In addition, Tyler is a longtime admirer of New Jersey-bred rock-and-roll, having been a faithful fan of artists like Bruce Springsteen and Brian Fallon for years. He also enjoys playing guitar and writing and performing his own songs at local bars and coffee shops.
