Nabeela M. Rehman

Bewildering Stories biography

After spending six years studying bread mold, Nabeela M. Rehman obtained a PhD in biochemistry. Then she married a German-Pakistani man. They currently reside in the western suburbs of Chicago and juggle a multi-cultural lifestyle with their three impressionable children in tow.

She has no pets, but she keeps her squirrel-proof bird feeder well stocked with the good birdseed. Sometimes she feels sorry for the squirrels and leaves them peanuts.

Nabeela’s work has appeared or is forthcoming in Chicago Parent, The Islamic Monthly, goatmilkblog.com, Black Lantern Publications, Chautauqua, Petrichor Review and Critical Muslim.
