For as long as I can remember I’ve wanted to write. But it hit pretty strongly the first time I read Dracula. I was twelve at the time and full of annoyance that the poor count had ‘bitten it’ in the end. I began to think up my own ending instead and was pretty pleased at the outcome I’d thought up. Though twelve years later I still feel sympathetic for the Count, I now completely love the ending in its original mode.

I’ve only started to take my writing seriously for the past year and find it great to look at all the old stuff I’d done in the past. I have six cats, an enormous argumentative family (what can I say except we’re Scots) and an addiction to coffee. At the moment I’m working for my dad, digging around in other people’s gardens, turning eyesores to eye-catching. I’m a big fan of Star Wars, rock music and Harry Potter. And if I had to have one nonsense wish it would be that I could finaly have a white Christmas, as it never snows were I live!
