Bewildering Stories biography
I was born in Georgia, the daughter of a captain in the Army and a woman from the hills of eastern Tennessee. I have written short stories and poems as long as I can remember, but it has only been recently that I have screwed up the courage to submit them for publication. I have published in a variety of magazines online, including Moondance and Still Crazy, and I enjoy working with the publishers and editors to hone my craft.
I met my second husband at a singles’ dance; he had said when he was very young he wanted to grow up and marry a woman from Georgia, and, well, the rest, as they say is history.
My daughter is 37 and has Down syndrome, an intellectual disability that has definitely made ME a better person.
