Bewildering Stories biography
I was born and raised in Pawtucket, Rhode Island and now currently reside in Houston, Texas, where I work at a university as an ESL Instructor who teaches international students how to read, write, and speak the English language.
I earned my Master of Arts degree in English/Creative Writing from Rhode Island College. I have published fiction in Suspense Magazine and Uncharted Frontier, won a full scholarship to the Ocean State Summer Writing Conference, placed second in the Nancy Potter Short Story Contest at the University of Rhode Island, and served as a contest judge of poetry and prose for Spark Anthology.
My influences come from the Horror and Mystery genres of both film and literature. Movies such as Scream, The Shining, and The Howling, and books such as Shutter Island, Cycle of the Werewolf, and The Vampire Lestat, along with many more, give me the fire needed to create my fiction.
