Bewildering Stories biography

This is a photo of me and my mom back in 1962. She is a Holocaust survivor, and her story has influenced my writing as well as my life. I was a late bloomer in many respects, but managed to graduate from college with a degree in Special Education. I still work as a teacher of the handicapped for early intervention.
My love of writing reemerged with a passion about five years ago, after my daughter left home for University. To date, I have had four short stories published in on-line magazines. I am also working on my first novel. I currently live on a quiet mountain lake in upstate New York with my husband and two dogs. I am a member of Backspace Writer’s Forum.
