Bewildering Stories biography
Neil Shephard resides in Utah. Retired and a widower, he whiles away the time with yard work, bird feeding, reading, and of course, writing. His interest in literature ranges across a variety of disciples, i.e. science, philosophy, history, fiction. In the latter his preference is for early modern authors (James, Conrad, Hemingway, Cheever, etc.) rather than current ones. Though many contemporary fictions are enjoyable, reader esteem over time is still the infallible test of a literary work.
