Bewildering Stories biography

Good Day, Reader!

My name is Jasmine Silver. I have a B.A. in English Literature, a minor in both Women’s and Cultural Studies. My work tends to reflect these passions, exploring complex characterizations of women.

For years I was labeled a Feminist. So finally, one March day, I tried on the label and it fit, looking as wonderful as the color blue against my skin tone!

Since then, I’ve lived in front of my mirror, trying on various labels and brands, and I’ve come to the conclusion, that if it is pro-people (mental, physical, social health, etc.) it’s my size, my style.

I consider myself a wandering writer, who travels year-round with her husband, Melvin, their feisty Shih Tzu Alexandra and their lion of a pekingese, Xavier. Currently, my family explores the southern oceanfront of what seems like a never-ending, east coast border.

Recent publications can be found in Anon, Barely South Review (under pseudonym) and Caper Literary Journal. I have been published in a number of reviews, journals and online venues. Also, be on the look out for a poetry anthology! I plan to complete this project in the near future and will soon begin my hunt for a publisher.

Warm Regards,

Jasmine
