Bewildering Stories biography

Kay Smith-Blum is a recovering retailer, who writes each day while perched (Elliott) bayside in Seattle. She is also a mother of sons, a garrulous gardener, a lap swimmer and an education advocate. While she waits in dread for what agents might say about her novels of historical fiction, she pens missives about strange stay-at-home times and other anecdotes of urban life.

Other essays in her Virus Days series have been featured at Heavy Feather Review, Down in the Dirt Magazine (printed issue Nov 2020) and Quail Bell Magazine.
