Born in Martinique in 1976, Ketty Steward is a poet and writer living in Paris. Since 2003, her work has regularly appeared in magazines and anthologies. In 2017 and 2018, she edited special issues of Galaxies on Africa.
Her books include Connexions interrompues (2011), Noir sur blanc (2012), and Confessions d'une séancière (2018). "HeLa Is Here" is her first story to appear in English.
