Bewildering Stories biography
My name is Gabriel White, and I am a new horror author. I am currently a senior at Southern Illinois University in Carbondale and I am studying to be a history teacher.
In my spare time I have began to write and found I have a strong passion for it. I have written several short stories and a historical research essay, some of which have been published in various places.
My historical research essay on 1980s slasher movies and their relation to American anxieties has been published in my university’s historical journal Legacy. I have also had three short stories published, one in the Horror Zine’s Book of Monster Stories anthology, one as the cover story of the Piker Press titled “The Hunted.” Finally I have “The Fanbase” set to be published in the Black Petals horror/science fiction magazine.
