Bewildering Stories biography

I’m originally from London, UK where I studied piano and guitar at The Royal Academy of Music. In Australia, I became the Dean of a prestigious music academy.

Since relocating from Melbourne to Brisbane, I’ve been a freelance arts writer and music reviewer and have published with Griffith Review, The Australian, Weekend Review, Limelight Magazine, The Australian Book Review, Artist Profile, Good Reading, ArtsHub and Courier Mail, Queensland’s metro daily.

I’m an occasional pre-concert speaker for The Australian Chamber Orchestra, Queensland Symphony Orchestra and Musica Viva.

In 2016, my memoir Elvis and Me: How a world-weary musician and a broken racehorse rescued each other, Finch Publishing was released in Australia, America, The UK, Canada and New Zealand.

I live in the bush with artist husband Mostyn Bramley-Moore, four rescue horses, four ducks and Rango, a greyhound.
