I live and write prose and poetry in Chattanooga, Tennessee, and work as an adjunct professor at Covenant College in nearby Lookout Mountain, Georgia. In 2021, at the age of 68, I graduated from the University of Tennessee in Chattanooga with a Masters in English.
My work has appeared in anthologies, journals, and magazines, including The Writer’s Chronicle, Sixfold, The Ekphrastic Review, Grist, Catalpa: a magazine of Southern perspectives, Freedom Fiction, and The Halcyone Review. For my chapbook, Migration, I was named Finalist in the 2019 Author of the Year Award in my category.
