I live in Charlotte, North Carolina and teach English to international students hoping to earn a university degree in the U.S. In the past few years I have transitioned from the journalism I was trained to do to writing short stories whose themes tend to toy with reality.
“The Thirteenth Door” is my second piece of fiction to be accepted for publication. The first was “Requiem for an Immortal,” which was published in The Broken Plate in Spring 2013. I hope to continue this trend and perhaps even step it up a little.
