Songs and thoughts are one.
I think, therefore I hear.
ESP might be connected
to the auditory nerve.
Breaking the sound barrier is fast.
As fast as thought?
Not as fast as light,
but trains get there on time.
Keep your train of thought.
Mom always believed sound
was another dimension:
elocution,
speaking in tongues,
listening to God,
mysteries of the universe,
sound waves traveling space
into infinity,
breaking past other worlds,
hearing a cry for help.
A simple declarative sentence:
I think, therefore I am.
Telepathy is pictured in waves
sound waves, thought waves
a chorus of ideas waving,
tangling up in the atmosphere,
vibrating forward
picked up by anyone listening
or thinking or feeling.
All are done in silence,
waiting to hear from other life forms,
waiting to know the secrets of the universe.
Can we see sound?
Invisible hand signals
like ocean waves
are caught in conch shells.
Smoke rings cry out,
“We are here.”
