Cate Gallivan

Cate was born in Massachusetts “in the late 20th century.” She has studied film scoring, classical piano, and piano technology. She earned an MFA degree in Creative Writing in 2019 and has published some stories.

“Down the Drain” will engage readers as a moral tale with a strong edge of fantasy. Not wishing to give too much away, let’s just ask what might happen if publicity-hungry celebrity scientists encountered experimental subjects — namely weird insect-like creatures — who have the same ambitions.
