Bewildering Stories

Bewildering Stories welcomes...

Dustin LaValley

We occasionally extend an official welcome long after an author’s first appearance in our pages; now that we have Dustin’s biographical sketch, he joins the select few.

Dustin’s first story for us was “She Waits in the Moonlight,” a very sinister tale in issue 83. “Of Judith and the Night” is quite similar to “Moonlight”: a female character immobilized by tragedy waits as life and death play out around her. “Judith” is even darker than “Moonlight,” if that’s possible, because Halloween will be doubly cruel to Judith.

Dustin has published in print as well as on line. The titles of some of the anthologies reflect his preferred genre, horror: Savage Night, Sick: An Anthology of Illness, and Deviant Minds, among others.

If you’re going trick or treating anywhere in upstate New York this Halloween, practice up on your kung fu, first... Dustin’s biographical sketch will tell you why.

Welcome to Bewildering Stories, Dustin. We look forward — with trepidation — to hearing from you again!
