Vera Searles

Bewildering Stories now extends even to Florida with the addition of Vera Searles to our list of contributors. Vera is a member of the Horror Writers and Science Fiction Writers associations and is quite a prolific author: after 300 short stories, she has completed two novels, one in fantasy (Tales of the Witchlings) and another in humor (How I Lived with an Outdoor Sport ).

Vera is another of our contributors to receive a belated welcome: “How Lincoln Became Immortal (and Arrived at Galaxy Mall)” appeared in issue 55. We’re happy to receive “The Glass Head” for this issue, as well. Both of those stories exemplify Vera’s knack for mingling humor and fantasy.
